Atmospheric Disturbances - Rivka Galchen I read a short story by her a few months ago and enjoyed it immensely (The Region of Unlikeness, in the New Yorker, March 2008), so i was eager to read her first novel. I was disappointed somewhat, no a lot, I guess. This book is about a psychiatrist who believes his wife is not the woman he married but has been secretly replaced by an impostor. She is a good writer, but the book is too long, too tiresome, perhaps it is my frame of mind.
